This out of control nun bought all the fish these guys had to sell. He had to close shop for the day after she finished with him. Must be a huge convent. Either that or, more likely, she had a side-line business going on. I don’t know, I’ve never really trusted nuns.
Maybe they’re shooting for a repeal of Vatican III.
How ’bout some loaves to go with those fishes? There’s a wedding in Gallilee.

Erica- where was the photo taken?
Kenny, The dame is a crook.
Mark,
I’m not sure, but I’ll try to find out.
Don’t know if it was here or in Italy. If the conversation was in English, maybe it went like this:
Customer comes in after Sister cleaned out the supply.
“Do you have any fish?”
Fishmonger: “No. Nun”
Customer: “What you mean, none?!”
Fishmonger: “No, nun. The nun bought all the fish!” :-)
Perhaps she & her “sister buddies” are in the business of feeding the hungry.
Then they probably also cleaned out the nearby bakery of all their loaves!
Zingara,
I hope you’re right.
The nun appears to be purchasing camarones and not pescados. Does this still qualify for “women with Fish?” Also: are nuns actually women?
Michael,
Yes, I believe most of them are.
Nun with fish
I’m not sure exactly why but this web site is loading very slow for me.
Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue
on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
love the habit!
